Community Support Worker
Casual
Integrity, collaboration and innovation – three values that are central to everything we do at Richmond. They shape our direction as an organisation, our service delivery to clients, and of course our commitment to our team. When you bring your skills and passion on board with us, you’re set to enjoy plenty in return. So if you like the sound of working with your clients to achieve outcomes they care about while building your career, it sounds like you belong right here.
Working rostered shifts, you’ll support clients in their own homes with regularly scheduled interactions to support their recovery. You’ll focus on strengths and provide support with goal setting, ensuring clients lead the decision-making process. Your innate ability to build trust and confidence, along with your respect for cultural identity, will see positive relationships forged with both clients and their community – a crucial factor in reaching goals.
Ideally, you’ll come to us with a National Certificate in Mental Health Support Work. If not, or if you’re working towards this qualification, we’ll help support you in your studies. A full New Zealand driver’s licence is also essential.
Are you ready to make a positive difference to people’s lives, including your own? If so, then put your heart in the right place with Richmond.
